Licensed Social Workers

LeadingAge New York, Inc., SW CPE is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s (NYSED) State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers. 

Contact hours may be awarded to  Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) for participation in approved programs. Please reference the program details to determine if a program is eligible for SW credit.

To receive credit for your participation in an eligible program, complete the following steps:

1. Indicate the type of credit you seek during registration for the program.

2. Provide your name, license type (i.e. LMSW or LCSW), license number, and state of licensure when indicated during registration.

3. Fill out the digital evaluation(s) provided for the program. 

Credit is awarded upon request via registration form and verification of the hours attended. Credit certificates will be distributed via email approximately 30 days following the program.
