2018 Annual Conference Scholarship

Scholarship Description:

Do you need financial support in order to attend the 2018 LeadingAge New York Annual Conference & Exposition?  This scholarship is funded through proceeds from the annual FLTC Golf Tournament earmarked to support the professional development of new and future leaders in aging services.  This award underwrites registration fees (any pre-conference intensive plus full conference) and two nights’ hotel stay.

Eligibility:

Those early in their career, eager to develop leadership skills and employed by a LeadingAge New York member are strongly urged to apply. 

The scholarship winner acknowledges that he/she must attend the full conference and has received permission from his/her organization to attend, if necessary.

Application:

The deadline for submission was April 10, 2018. 

Selection Process:

A committee, comprised of members of Foundation for Long Term Care Board of Directors and staff, will review all applications and will award one scholarship.  The winner will be notified by April 26, 2018.

The recipient of the 2018 scholarship award is: Ashley M. Schultz, M. M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, Canandaigua 

Conference Registration Instructions for Scholarship Applicants:

You may register for the conference and be provided a refund if selected for the scholarship. Or you may wait until after the winner is selected to register.  If you wait and are not selected, we will honor the early bird rate and provide you a discount code to enter when registering.
