LeadingAge NY Establishes New Engineering Council

LeadingAge NY has convened a new Engineering Council. The goal of the Council is to provide information to facility managers/directors, environmental services directors, security directors, etc., specific to their areas and to build joint mutual friendships and contacts for networking purposes. Council members will share their ideas with each other in meetings, and LeadingAge NY will provide stewardship and engage vendors specific to engineering such as facility HVAC, building restoration, cleaning, disinfection, safety, etc.

This time is an opportunity to come together on a continual basis to learn, share ideas, and stay informed. Meetings may include updates on relevant topics and compliance from the Department of Health (DOH), Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Safety and Security, etc. LeadingAge NY policy staff will frequently provide information related to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), DOH, Department of Financial Services (DFS), etc. Vendors will also be invited to provide training, show products, highlight new trends, and familiarize all with ongoing supply shortages, etc.
