Wartburg Marks First COVID-19 Vaccinations

In the fight against COVID-19, Wartburg has reached a significant milestone: its first resident and employee vaccinations. Icy Bryan, one of Wartburg’s skilled nursing facility residents, received the organization’s first vaccination. Lavern Goldson-Barnes, a licensed practical nurse and union delegate, was the first employee to be vaccinated.

CARF International has announced that Jewish Senior Life has once again achieved CARF accreditation. It is the only Rochester-area organization, and one of only six in New York State, to have earned this recognition.

Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center recently announced the winners of its 27th annual Photo Contest. Thirty winning photos were chosen from among more than 450 entries for permanent display in the 460-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility.
