“Nascentia Neighborhood at The Beeches” Event Draws Excited Crowd in Rome On Nov. 17th, for the first time in nearly two years, an excited crowd gathered at The Beeches in Rome to celebrate and support this important community asset. Nascentia Health, which purchased the 52-acre property in April 2021, welcomed a gathering of nearly 150 local dignitaries and community members to kick off their plans for restoring and expanding the property.

The system includes a training treadmill that simulates challenges of everyday life, such as walking on uneven pavement or lifting feet over doorsteps.

AmeriCorps Seniors at Lutheran Host In-Service for Foster Grandparent Volunteers On Nov. 3rd, the AmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparent staff at Lutheran held an in-service training for foster grandparent volunteers. Using laptops, volunteers learned how to use Google to research information on positive behavior support, how to build lasting relationships with students, as well as information on reading, language and the arts.
