Catholic Health Long-Term Care Facilities Recognized for Top Quality and Performance by NYS Nursing Home Quality Initiative Catholic Health’s long term care facilities have been ranked in the top tiers of best performing facilities in New York State, as measured by the Department of Health's Nursing Home Quality Initiative (NHQI), an annual quality and performance evaluation project to improve the quality of care for residents in Medicaid-certified nursing facilities across the state. Father Baker Manor, Mercy Nursing Facility at OLV, and McAuley Residence were listed on the Department’s NHQI list as having achieved the first quintile, while St. Catherine Labouré Health Care Center was in the second quintile.

Brother, sister duo wins 5K race as John May Mile & 5K returns to Greenport: Photos An annual tradition returned to Greenport on Sept. 12th as Peconic Landing hosted the 15th annual John May Mile & 5K Race, which benefits the Greenport Fire Department. Nearly 100 racers competed in the 5K, and 15-year-old Trevor Hayes of Westhampton won the race in 16:25.04, well ahead of the rest of the field. Trevor’s older sister, 17-year-old Rose Hayes, was the top female finisher in 19:57.78.
