“Operation Lifting Spirits” gifts 120 Brothers of Mercy Residents on Valentine’s Day For the second time in two months, the Western New York community stepped up to make a difference in the lives of over 120 residents and patients at the Brothers of Mercy Wellness Campus. The 2020 holiday season marked the launch of Brothers of Mercy’s “Operation Lifting Spirits” campaign, which provides supporters of the organization the opportunity to anonymously send residents holiday-themed care packages. During the month of February, Brothers of Mercy’s “Spread the Love” online fundraiser enabled donors to order cookie, cupcake and Valentine chocolate care packages, along with greeting cards that could be filled out with personalized messages.
