Thanks to the generosity of the Parker family of Portland, Oregon, Loretto will launch a new technical training program this spring to promote digital inclusion among its employees.

A partnership led by Olshan Properties and O’Connor Capital Partners, in conjunction with the New York City Housing Development Corporation and Department of Housing Preservation and Development, has begun construction on a new 221-unit senior affordable housing development in the Parkchester section of the Bronx. The development, which will be called Parkchester Gardens, is expected to be completed by mid-year 2023. Selfhelp Community Services will provide on-site services and programming for building residents, funded by a contract from the New York City Human Resources Administration.

Jefferson’s Ferry is offering two distinct scholarship programs to Suffolk County Community College nursing programs. One $2,000 scholarship will be offered to a high school senior, while another $2,000 scholarship will be available to eligible Jefferson’s Ferry employees and their dependent children.
