Wartburg Celebrates 10th Annual Jazz in June with Tito Puente, Jr.

Wartburg celebrated its 10th annual Jazz in June fundraiser on its campus on June 16, 2022. The Latin-inspired event was held on Wartburg’s meadow with nearly 300 guests and 50 sponsors. This year’s event featured local performers including students from Lagond Music School in Elmsford and the energetic Tito Puente, Jr., a Latin Jazz performer who keeps the legacy of his renowned father alive through music.

Jewish Senior Life raises money for Alzheimer's Association

June 21st was the summer solstice, or longest day of the year, and Jewish Senior Life took that opportunity to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association. The Rochester organization held a walk from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. with members of their adult day health program.

The Osborn in Rye, NY, Announces Academic Achievement Awards

The Osborn’s Residents’ Association recently donated more than $50,000 in Academic Achievement Awards to employees’ children pursuing college degrees. The 44 scholarships of $1,200 each were presented at a recent Residents’ Association meeting.

The Osborn Rededicates H.O.P.E. Center for Memory Care

The Osborn recently celebrated the rededication of its Memory Care program, now called “The Dr. Edward C. Pasciuti H.O.P.E. Center for Memory Care” in recognition of the doctor’s ongoing generosity. An educator and counselor in the New Rochelle School District for 40 years, Dr. Pasciuti has been a resident of The Osborn’s Sterling Park Independent Living Community for over 20 years and has spearheaded fundraising for scholarships benefiting children of staff as well as a memorial garden on campus.
