United Hebrew Seniors Learn How to Avoid Cyber Scams on Cyber Monday

Cybersecurity experts from Ridgewood Savings Bank shared online safety tips with residents of United Hebrew of New Rochelle’s Willow Towers Assisted Living community on Cyber Monday. Student volunteers from Iona University were then on hand to help the residents put their new knowledge to use, helping them to navigate an array of websites while perusing gifts for loved ones this holiday season.

Gurwin Nursing Home resident and art therapist clinch LeadingAge awards

LeadingAge New York has named Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center resident Victoria Hren and art and recreation therapist Johanna Cutolo, ATR-BC, CTRS, winners in its 2022 Art Exhibit. Ms. Hren was presented with the Staff Choice Award for her acrylic painting entitled Fall with Birch, and Ms. Cutolo received the Contributing Staff Artist Award for her oil painting entitled East End Vista.
