The inaugural North Fork Walk to End Alzheimer’s, held at Peconic Landing on Aug. 6^th, raised more than $25,000 to support Alzheimer’s care, support, and research programs.

The Alliance for Senior Care, a consortium of five not-for-profit nursing homes in Greater Rochester that includes Episcopal SeniorLife Communities, Friendly Senior Living, Jewish Senior Life, St. Ann’s Community, and St. John’s, recently hosted legislators at Jewish Senior Life to thank them for their support around increasing Medicaid reimbursement rates to New York State’s nursing homes and discuss furthering the agenda for future rate increases and rebasing strategies.

Paula Griffith, a resident of The Wesley Community’s Embury Apartments, celebrated her 109^th birthday on Fri., July 28, 2023 with a party at the Embury Café.

Jewish Senior Life was honored to receive three 2023 Rochester Business Journal Reader Rankings Awards at a celebration on July 27^th. Top winner designations were awarded to The Summit at Brighton for Best Retirement Community and to Wolk Manor in the Best Assisted Living Community category. In addition, Jewish Senior Life was honored as a Best Overall Employer winner (500-1,000 employees).
