United Hebrew Receives $325,000 in New York State Grants for Capital Improvements, Enhancing Care of Westchester’s Seniors New York State Senator Shelley B. Mayer, Senator Nathalia Fernandez, Assemblyman Steve Otis, and United Hebrew of New Rochelle President and CEO Rita Mabli announced on Nov. 27th that United Hebrew has received $325,000 in New York State grants for the improvement of the senior living campus’ main kitchen and rehabilitation area.

The Wesley Community selected as beneficiary of Impressions of Saratoga’s inaugural “Adopt a Grandparent” holiday initiative The Wesley Community will receive gifts for residents courtesy of two local boutique gift shops that have launched a holiday giving campaign. Impressions of Saratoga and The Dark Horse Mercantile will bring cheer to residents who do not have plans with family during the holidays through their Adopt a Grandparent program.

Episcopal SeniorLife Communities Celebrates Annual Employee & Volunteer Special Awards Each year, Episcopal SeniorLife Communities celebrates and presents special employee awards, as well as the Generations Award, which highlights volunteers who excel in their volunteering role. This year's winners included Vicki Wilson-Frith, resident care assistant at Ashley Woods, receiving the Canon St. Julian Simpkins Employee of the Year Award; Cherish Justice, resident care assistant at Brentland Woods, receiving the Catherine Johnson Caregiver of the Year Award; Sally Radell, assistant director of nursing at the Episcopal Church Home, receiving the Austin E. Hildebrandt Award of Honor; Maureen Williams, director of resident services at Seabury Woods, receiving the Loren J. Ranaletta Award of Honor; Patty Gillett, volunteer at the Episcopal Church Home, receiving the Generations Award; and volunteers from St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, also receiving the Generations Award.
