Jewish Home Innovation Program and Employees Recognized by LeadingAge New York

Jewish Home was recently honored with several accolades at LeadingAge New York’s Annual Conference and Exposition held in Saratoga Springs. The community’s Virtual Reality Immersion Room received LeadingAge New York’s Innovation of the Year Award, which recognizes programs for their groundbreaking creativity, vision, success, and ability to replicate; Qais Qaderi, dining room supervisor at The Summit at Brighton, was selected as a 2024 LeadingAge New York Employee of Distinction for the Rochester region; and Chris Zoellick, chief technology officer, received his certificate of completion for LeadingAge New York’s IGNITE Leadership Academy.

St. John's and URMC Collaborate to Address Local Hospital Capacity Needs, Fill Community Health Care Service Gaps

St. John’s and the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) recently announced a strategic collaboration on select key projects that will address regional hospital overcapacity and fill gaps in local service needs. Major components of the agreement include a modest investment by URMC to help St. John’s open more skilled care beds and to expand service offerings in community high-needs areas, such as a new chronic dialysis unit and pediatric skilled care.
