LeadingAge NY and LeadingAge National Document 2024 Accomplishments

(Jan. 10, 2025) LeadingAge NY is pleased to share a summary of our major accomplishments during 2024, along with those of LeadingAge National. The year 2024 was another eventful one for LeadingAge NY and our members.

In partnership with our members, LeadingAge NY achieved several budgetary, legislative, regulatory, and policy victories in 2024 – including significant Medicaid investments for nursing homes, assisted living programs, and adult day health care providers for a second year in a row; the enactment of several bills benefiting members; and the defeat of a number of bills that would have had significant negative impacts. We also helped members to navigate major changes in the long-term care and aging services landscape through educational offerings, technical assistance, and business solutions.

Among the accomplishments celebrated by LeadingAge National in 2024 were policy wins, exclusive member services, and expanded events based on member feedback.

LeadingAge NY greatly appreciates all of the member contributions to our collective success in 2024 and looks forward to a productive 2025.
