HUD has stated that properties participating in certain HUD-assisted Multifamily Housing programs must comply with a new reverification directive. However, the necessary report has not been operational, and HUD has not communicated clearly with housing providers about next steps.

Plans should add the new application  to their HCS dahsboard no later than June 26th.

While CMS remains committed to meeting its statutory oversight obligations, the agency will conduct fewer Federal Monitoring Surveys due to operational disruptions caused by the federal government shutdown that occurred between Oct. 1, 2025 and Nov. 12, 2025.
