Updated Digital Budget Letters Now Available!

(Feb. 10, 2026) To build upon the momentum of our Feb. 3rd Advocacy Day and the Health/Medicaid budget hearing, it is essential that we now activate our grassroots advocacy tools to amplify our message and keep our budget priorities top of mind for state lawmakers.

The Senate and Assembly are expected to release their one-house budget proposals in early March. Over the next few weeks, we must work to maintain legislators’ attention, urging for stronger investments and thoughtful reforms in long-term care and aging services.

To support our budget efforts, LeadingAge NY has developed the service line-specific digital advocacy letters below. These tools make it easy to stay in contact with policymakers throughout the 2026-27 budget process.

Please use the links below to contact your legislators and the Governor today!

Each letter takes only a minute or two to send. Simply enter your information to automatically send an email to the Governor, your State Senator, and your Assembly Member. More grassroots advocacy tools will be coming soon, but for now, please help us flood the email inboxes of your state legislators!

After sending your letters, please share these links with colleagues, board members, and volunteers. This is a simple and easy way to strengthen our unified message to the Legislature at this critical time.

In addition, LeadingAge NY’s Advocacy Day website will remain active over the coming weeks. We encourage members to continue to share our Budget Issue Briefs with legislative offices. If you have not yet watched the recording of our Budget and Advocacy Day Prep Call, the messaging and priorities discussed there remain timely and important.

Thank you for your dedication to budget advocacy, and for your continued engagement throughout this year’s budget process!
