(Nov. 26, 2024) In recent days, President-elect Donald Trump has nominated the following individuals to key leadership positions impacting health, housing, and aging services:
- Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary: Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
- Labor Secretary: Lori Chavez-DeRemer
- Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary: Scott Turner
- Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner: Marty Makary
- Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director: David Weldon
- Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator: Dr. Mehmet Oz
- Surgeon General: Dr. Janette Nesheiwat
- Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE): Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy
