Minimum Wage and Minimum Wage Reimbursement Tax Credit

On Dec. 31, 2015, New York State minimum wage will increase from $8.75 an hour to $9 an hour. The increase is being paired with an increase in the Minimum Wage Reimbursement Tax Credit from $1.31 to $1.35 to help offset some of the increased wage costs for businesses.
