Karen Lipson to Join LeadingAge New York Staff

LeadingAge New York is pleased to announce that we have recruited Karen Lipson to join our team as Executive Vice President for Innovation Strategies. Karen is an attorney with almost 20 years of health care policy experience, having most recently worked at the New York State Health Department in the Office of Health Systems Management. Karen has also worked as legislative counsel in the New York State Assembly and as an attorney for a premier law firm with a national health care practice.

Karen will take over a new role at LeadingAge New York that will allow her to concentrate on key policy areas that need additional support, including managed long term care and home care. Karen’s expertise will provide great value to LeadingAge New York and our members, especially as we navigate the historic changes taking place in health care and long term care.
