$56 Million in VAP Awards Announced

Gov. Cuomo announced yesterday $56 million in funding through the Vital Access/Safety Net Provider Program (VAP), which supports healthcare services for New York State’s fragile, elderly, and low-income populations. This is the third round of VAP funding to be announced, bring funding totals to nearly $157 million. The awards will fund multi-year projects and go towards hospitals, clinics, home health providers and nursing homes to ensure healthier communities across the state by expanding ambulatory services, urgent care centers and expanding services in rural areas.
