Therapeutic Recreation/Activities Consulting Services

LeadingAge NY ProCare consultants have significant experience in the area of therapeutic recreation and activities programming for nursing facilities. We have provided these services to facilities that wish to improve their existing programs, have received survey deficiencies in the area of activities, or have requested a review of their dementia units/programs. Examples of some of the consulting services we are able to provide include: assessing and/or implementing therapeutic programming specifically related to meeting special needs of populations; developing activity protocols; assessing documentation systems, including care plans, for individualized goals, approaches and adaptations; and conducting staff training.
