Happy Holidays from ADHCC! New DOH Nursing Home Visitation Guidance Aligns with CMS Requirements: Consistent with CMS guidance, the new State-issued guidance generally allows outdoor visitation regardless of county positivity and outbreak status, allows indoor visitation except under limited circumstances, and precludes the imposition of testing or vaccination as a condition of visitation. The DOH guidance also sets forth protocols to follow when a visitor contracts COVID-19 after a visit.

ADHCC members serve more than 10,000 New Yorkers annually. We are the only organization that speaks exclusively for ADHC providers; we are dedicated to the continuation and expansion of adult day health care in an effort to meet the needs of the frail elderly, chronically ill, disabled adults and their caregivers.
