ADHCC Offers Free Webinar CACFP

ADHCC is offering a free webinar for ADHCC members on the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), Wed., Nov. 28 from 2-3:30 p.m. The webinar will be presented by Mary Ellen Flynn, RD, Division of Nutrition, New York State Department of Health. Click here to register.

The New York State Department of Health CACFP is available to eligible ADHC and SADC programs to improve the wellness of adults. This presentation will provide an overview of CACFP including the benefits of participation, reimbursement rates, the CACFP Adult Meal Pattern, and requirements for participating in CACFP.

Approximately 60 percent of ADHC programs are not taking advantage of this revenue source. As you finalize your 2019 budget, consider the reimbursement for meals available through CACFP.
