NYC Members: Please Complete Preparedness Capabilities Survey for 2023-2024 NYC DOHMH Jurisdictional Risk Assessment

NYC DOHMH has commenced its 2023-2024 Jurisdictional Risk Assessment, an assessment conducted every five years that aims to gather information about public health threats, analyze them, and identify the most important threats based on how likely they are to exceed existing City emergency response capabilities. All NYC members, regardless of service line, are urged to complete the JRA Round 1 Preparedness Capabilities Survey, which will evaluate NYC’s preparedness level as outlined by the CDC’s 15 Public Health Emergency Preparedness Capabilities.

The Adult Day Health Care Council (ADHCC) represents 130 medical model adult day health care (ADHC) programs, more than 90 percent of ADHC programs operating across New York State. ADHCC members serve more than 10,000 New Yorkers annually. We are the only organization that speaks exclusively for ADHC providers; we are dedicated to the continuation and expansion of adult day health care in an effort to meet the needs of the frail elderly, chronically ill, disabled adults and their caregivers. We offer our members outstanding operational and regulatory guidance along with state and federal advocacy and an array of educational events, useful products and resources.
