Meg Carr Everett
Meg Everett is the executive director of the Adult Day Health Care Council (ADHCC), an affiliate of LeadingAge New York. In this capacity, she is responsible for all issues related to medical model adult day care programs, including reimbursement, legislation, regulations, lobbying, research and education. She works closely with the ADHCC board and membership on policy issues affecting adult day health care and is responsible for management of the daily operations of the council. ADHCC is a statewide trade association representing more than 120 actively licensed programs across New York State.
Meg joined ADHCC back in 2016 as a policy analyst. Subsequently, she moved to the position of policy analyst for LeadingAge New York handling all Home and Community Based Service (HCBS) policy and took on the position of executive director of ADHCC in January of 2022. Prior to this, she has worked on policy and legislative issues for the NYS Assembly, Whiteman Osterman and Hanna and the Adironddack Mountain Club, and was the program director for SmARTschools, an arts integration program, sponsored by the Ellsworth Kelly and Berkshire Taconic Foundations.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from LeMoyne College and lives in Chatham, NY, with her family.
