SHIN-NY Webinar Resources Available
(Nov. 12, 2025) The Department of Health (DOH) and NY eHealth Collaborative, partners jointly in charge of the Statewide Health Information Network for NY (SHIN-NY), held webinars for assisted living providers and Licensed Home Care Services Agencies (LHCSAs) to share the background and benefit of the SHIN-NY, as well as the requirements for providers and detail on how providers will participate with the SHIN-NY.
As members know, Article 28, 36, and 40 providers were required to sign SHIN-NY Statewide Common Participation Agreements (SCPAs) to engage with the SHIN-NY by Oct. 15th. Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) providers should be aware of the recent Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) regarding the SHIN-NY and LeadingAge NY's Intelligence articles on the subject.
Members can access the SHIN-NY webinar in the DOH Learning Management System (LMS) – OALTC-547 - New York eHealth Collaborative: Assisted Living Program Overview – to learn more about how Assisted Living Program (ALP) LHCSAs are to engage with the SHIN-NY.
LeadingAge NY will provide access to the SHIN-NY webinar for LHCSAs when it becomes available.
