Free Home Care Provider Workshop: Exploring Your Emergency Response Plan

The Home Based Care Alliance (HBCA), a group composed of home care service providers and governmental organizations in the greater New York City area, is offering a free workshop for home care providers that goes beyond basic emergency planning and explores topics such as data recovery, communication during emergencies, efficient use of vendors and staff, as well as how recovery plans have benefited from lessons learned from Hurricane Sandy.

The Your Emergency Response Plan: Further Exploration flyer describes how to register online and additional information for this Friday, June 14, 2013 workshop that will be held from 8:30 a.m. (continental breakfast included) to 12:30 p.m. at the NYC offices of the Visiting Nurse Service of New York.
