DEA Drug Take Back Day Scheduled for Oct. 22nd
The next Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Drug Take Back date is scheduled for Oct. 22nd from 10 am to 2 pm. Click here for more information. A notification will be sent to all Class 3A facilities outlining the process and steps for on-site collection. We have heard from members that some have already received a communication, which is sent to the facility address and does not necessarily identify a contact person. Thus, members are encouraged to review facility mail for a communication from the DEA so they don't miss this opportunity. Residents of housing and home and community based consumers can utilize community events to dispose of any expired or unused medications.
